I Vlog Everday On Youtube
I would put in the description that you do not own the rights to them just to be safe.
When you go through the partnership evaluation they will check all your videos. Having two pictures from the news I doubt is going to hurt your chances! YouTube is much more about protecting the "bigger" things such as music copyright infringement and such things. Just as long as your videos are original/your own creation nothing should stand in your way other than being in the wrong country that does not have the YouTube partnership program "enabled"Yeah I am aiming for Partnership! Ouch, thats abit of a problem then. In my last video I have 2 pictures that I found on the NEWS that I was covering. So I got them from the NEWS sites... it just looked a little more professional at the time. If i want partenership or am aiming for it, should I remove them or just carry on? Surely youtube will let me know if anything is copyright infringed?
To abide to the full extent of the law he would have to not only say that but also link to the owner of the pictures, have permission from said person to link to him and to use the pictures overall... It´s a hard world out there lolI would put in the description that you do not own the rights to them just to be safe.

applying for partnership you should have at least a couple thousand subs and at least 100,000 video views I believe.
I see loads of partners using copyrighted images in their videos of celebrities and such which magazines etc will own the rights to so you can get away with it, I wouldnt use them too often though to stay on the safe side of things.
