Copyright Strikes...

You cannot remove the copyright strikes - sorry mate - you need to wait six months..... next time: don't use copyrighted songs, get royalty free instead ;p

I've only had one copyright strike before *on my old channel* and personally I don't think I deserved that copyright strike. Anyways, like others stated you have to wait 6 months. Just learn from this so it doesn't happen again.

Don't use copyrighted music. I got a copyright strike in 2008 by uploading music by a japanese guitarist and other channels who uploads his music got copyright strikes too but it was gone after 6 months i think.

It appears to me that they are allowing you to use the music but the entity who owns the rights to those songs are getting the advertising revenue.

If they are allowing you to use it, I wouldn't think that you'd get a copyright strike and be found in violation of community standards.

Somebody please confirm or correct my info.

They have the choice to block videos if they so wish to, but they haven't - generally meaning they don't mind you using it but they must take the revenue generated. So you're correct.

But since they are allowing it, the user shouldn't be getting any community strikes or copyright violations, correct?
