So if I monetize my videos and put any music (of someone else's) in it for just like 5-10 seconds (just the music; not any song), will it cause any problems? Please help me out! Thanks in anticipation

Yes. It doesn't matter how long the music clip is, if the music is copyrighted and is in the content id system your whole video will be monetized to them. Look for CC music without any such restrictions.

Yes. It is copyrighted man. You need permission to use songs unless they are under Royalty, Public Domain or Creative Commons 3.0 Attribution.
