Community Guideline Strike - Partner

Whewwww, y'all were scaring me. It's a Community Guidelines Strike not a copyright strike. From what it sounds like I'm fine just have to not get another strike for 6 months (which means I'll be very mild with the content from this point on).

I was thinking about e-mailing my network (RPM) about it and asking them if there's anyway I can get it removed/get a written statement from youtube as to why they gave me a strike, is this a good idea?

Networks have no power to intervene with YouTube's enforcement of their policies. It would be a waste of time doing so.

Yah, you're definitely right but they definitely have a better ability to get in contact with youtube whereas if I sent an e-mail to youtube it would be a goose chase ha

hey folks so if you do get your first community guideline strike: you lose a few features, and have to be on your best behavior for 6 months right? Do we have to do anything else, or will the strike be automatically removed in 6 months?

thanks

Each Community Guideline strike expires after approx 6 months.

Hey gabriel, but here is the problem: I panicked when i received the strike and i deleted the video! Now when i look in account setting and where it gives you the explanation of the strike: it does not say it will expire in 6 months! i've seen many people's screen shots and it says theyre will expire in 6 months. But in my explanation of the strike it does not say it will expire in 6 months! it does not say when it will expire!

So you sure they all expire in 6 months as long as you dont mess up again?

Thanks once again gabriel

Yes I'm sure and Google seems sure, too.

Hey gabriel. I too recieved a strike on two videos which were removed. But this was counted as one strike. On an unpartnered account, it mentions further strikes may get your account terminated. However, the strike i just got on my partnered account did not mention anything about having your account terminated from future strikes.

Also, do partnered accounts get terminated after 3 strikes? Or are those accounts safe from termination?
