Commas in description affect tags?

There are times when I find good tags, but trying to use them in the video description is awkward. For instance, I'm looking at "matrix there is no spoon" for an upcoming video. It would be awkward including that in the description, unless I did something like...

In the matrix, there is no spoon...

Would search engines still see that as using the tag in the description?

I'm not sure but maybe you could reorganize the sentence to not need commas? "There is no spoon in the matrix" just in case, perhaps use both versions of the sentence to ensure your tag gets found both ways.
