Google doesn`t buy many of them, for a chance your network has to sell its own ads, I wouldn`t recommend them anyway

Depends , here in Vultra every partner has their own custom ID, this may seem annoying but it means if you upload to someone elses channel (e.g. Vultra`s Hubs) you can get paid for it.

i was told to plug in my Vultra ID into the CUSTOM ID box, apparently "making the videos easier recognizable by acc"
