Channel background and partner banner

Ok so I recently got partnered and I have been making my new background and banner. If you guys have time and don't mind could you please have a look and let me know what you think. It is not finished, but I do not wanna go further if it is crap. I am in no way a graphics kinda guy.

Hmm, I may just be interested in something a little more custom. How long does it usually take you to complete a 3d intro?

1) name would look better on the banner
2) feather the images on the sides
3)Make it wider and longer as on a 1920x1280 screen I`m seeing lots of black space!
4) maybe make the icons the same colour/style
