Can someone explain what a directorship is?

I'm not totally sure, but I believe a director is someone who posts on a Network's hub channels. I imagine becoming a director is different for each network, so check the network websites or contact them.
 
Yeah it is different by network. In most cases, it is someone who posts on hub channels of the network, for example Machinima Respawn. All the videos on there are from directors. You have to apply on networks websites. There are probably over 100 networks. Check the sticky thread in this forum for a list of some of the larger ones.
