Best Network for small Gamer?

Signing your channel to a network when most of the partner features are now (as of the new layout) available to unpartnered channels is a mistake.

The only reason to partner is to get monetization rights for video games. With less than 2500 views a month, you aren't going to make any money anyways so signing a contract is a waste of your time and could cause you problems down the road.
Seriously... No... :/

He needs a community, not a network. In some cases they can be the same thing, but he could sign with machinima or anyone else all he wants and really get no extra exposure. Thus the monetization license is the only benefit.

I'd be interested to hear the benefits that a 2500 view per month channel will get from signing a partnership agreement. I've read quite a few contracts from different providers.

Locking your channel into a network when you're too small to be picky is a huge mistake.

I don't want to now, when I get about 100 subs or so I'll try for something, right now would be ridiculous...

See, the thing about YouTube is that the contracts by and large are terrible. A 2 or 3 year contract just for making videos on the internet? YouTube itself is only 8 years old.

These kind of contracts are ridiculous. So until you reach the point where you can pick and choose any network, and we're talking more than 100 subs, signing with whoever will take you is a dangerous move.

You have no choice at 100 subs. You have no weight to negotiate contract terms. You either take what they offer or get nothing, and what they offer a 100 sub channel is not their best contract by a long shot.

Now, sometimes a person with exceptional content can get a directorship spot posting regular videos to a large hub channel. In these cases it can be valuable. But the network isn't going to otherwise push your videos or promote your channel. That's not what they're for. Networks are primarily for managing advertisers and ad revenue. Negotiating rights contracts and so on.

I am just now seeing this for some reason... :( I see now thats what I need, how would I apply for a directorship? Do you have a website you can link me to or something? I think I know realize what I need is a directorship, I just wanted more exposure basically, I have been growing about four to five subs a week, so if I could introduce my channel to more people WITHOUT doing some cheap and non legit sub4sub thing, that would be great. Which I'm guessing is what a directorship is. :) If you could get back to meh that would be great!

When appling for your network, how would I check my daily stats? Thats all I have left on the application, I tried VidstatsX I think, and when I went to video views, nothing came up, and it said I had like 51 subscribers, which is not true :p So who would I check?

EDIT: Never mind, it said 51 subscripTIONS sorry, :D But still, I don't know how to check daily views.
