Best Free/Low-costEditing Software To use With Fraps?

Gaming, Lego and Food and Water. I could survive.
I have been using Fraps for a while now and have yet to find the best software to edit it with. I have tried to use WMM for a short time but it created a black box around my videos. I am looking for a free/low cost editing software :)
