Best editing and recording software.

Hi all.
I wanted to know what is the best editing and recording software in your opinion.
I am using Sony Vegas pro 13 and fraps but i wanted to know if there is better solutions out there.

Premiere Pro is the best editor I have ever used. Easy to use, easy to find every option you need. My experience with Vegas wasn't good, because I was unable to find proper render settings. In Premiere Pro is came effortlessly.

For recording, I prefer Bandicam. I tried different kind of software before and I have to say that Bandicam is the best. It has every option you might ever need (or almost all).
 
I'm using Vegas Pro 13 as well. From working with Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere while working in Television broadcasting; I find Vegas to be my favorite and in my opinion, the most versatile. As far as game capture goes: I use an external capture card, but I have many friends who speak very highly of Merilis Action. It's around $20 CAD and works extremely well.
