Benefits To Youtube Partnership

Well said. :) I like the claiming videos part where you earn money even if someone steals your video and pretend it is their own.:D

This has already happened to me (partially my own fault, but thankfully it was just one and won't happen again). So claiming would be awesome.

a lot of networks have great tools and communities that help you grow your channel.. that is also a huge plus... the networking factor
i agree! I love meeting new people, after all that's what "network" means--a web of connections, right? :p

Not every partner gets Live Streaming and Shows. Not every network provides support for them either. Also, even when a network submits a request... the decision lies with YouTube based on account standing and review.

As far as "Click Bombing" and AdSense...

You can still fall afoul of "click bombing" even when networked. However, the penalty coming down from YouTube would be less likely. Most networks will have a review system and policy to catch and penalize partners faking clicks. So, if you feel you're being "click bombed", it's important to contact your network support and communicate the issue to create a "paper trail" and so they don't just assume it's actually you.

That part about AdSense closing accounts just to keep the money... myth. They have a review process and it likely checks accounts before they hit the threshold on purpose. The closing of accounts is unrelated to not wanting to pay people... they just don't want to pay for invalid clicks! (nor should they) All that said... it would be nice for AdSense to be a little more lenient in some of their policies and/or just invalidate the bad clicks without banning.
