Background stuff

Ok i am no good at graphic design, i have done the stuff on paint years back, but never used photoshop, (tried it once and failed and gave in)

But do you think, for someone who is starting out to worry about a custom background? If so any suggestions?

Also the info bit on the side, what stuff should i put in there apart from the basics

Hummm. A BG is always important. And as to what to put, try putting images relevant to what your channel shows? I'm working on a new bg for my channel too, I just posted a logo for a cartoon series I won't produce in a while lol.... What a douche I am.. I know!
