IF your views/subs or whatever is too low. Remember that some people get offered the 1 year contract still, Pawtaytoe :)
I would imagine that a bot enters your channel and decides if your stats qualify for the 1 year contract, if it does not, they will hand you the 2 year contract. BE PATIENT PEOPLE! If you take the 2 year contract you are either impatient or you don't read the contract. Ooooor you might just not care about a longer lock in and lesser payment.

They've changed everything to the 2 year contract. If you are a massive channel, you MIIIIGHHTTT be able to negotiate. But the chances of them doing that are quite small at the moment. Personally, I am with RPM at the moment and they're not even that bad.

Hm... No I don't think so actually... On twitter I saw people who were confused because they were offered the 1 year contract although others had said that they got a 2 year contract so they were like ''It was probably a misprint'' and RPM responded that they give out contracts depending on the channel which is why I assume that a bot determines if you qualify for the 1 year contract or not. Maybe the 2 year contract existed when I applied to the channel? Because I got confused about the fact that I had not gotten the 2 year contract myself and thought that I had done it a bit before they made the 2 year one.

But I have come to realise that I probably was offered the 1 year contract because my monthly views currently exceeds 2500. I think that somewhere around 2500 is the limit they have set for the bot to decide on. This is my theory though, nothing official!

Although if you have proof for your claims, I would love to see it :3
 
If you call them on +1(310) 601-1960 remember to put in the plus symbol, and speak to some one called aaron she will put you on a list to be unpartnered, you have to have a good reason, and whatever you do be nice dont rage otherwise they just hang up.
