The other day I uploaded a gaming video to Youtube and within a minute I got an email from Youtube saying my video was using a copyrighted song. I was told that ads would play on my video and the proceeds would go to the owner of the song. I listened to the section of the video in question, no music playing at all. The song in question was published in 2003 and the game I was playing was published in 1998.
Pretty weird, huh?
Anyway, just to comply with Youtube and resolve it, I removed the "song" from the video.
