Any body have any success promoting on vine?

I don't have much luck on twitter or reddit etc
 
I don't have much with promoting content in general, but the problem I have with Vine is actually making stuff (probably because of my tendency to script things, and aim for episodic content)
 
I have some minor success. I just show a clip from my computer screen. I get around 300-500 views on VIne. DO they watch my YT video? I have no idea

That's what I was wondering, it's easy to rack up loops but links aren't clickable.. Suppose it's publicity!
