amazon affiliate links

I know this thing has been answered before but. In my description can I direct link to a product with Amazon or do I need to build a website so the links are all right there on my site? My only problem is that my products are more trendy than typical. I already have a website but I have not built on it much.

As others have mentioned, just put the affiliate links in the video description, BUT ALSO be sure to include the Amazon Affiliates Diaclaimer in the video description as well. It’s required by both Amazon and the Federal Trade Commission if you are in the USA. It’s a simple sentence that says something to the effect of:

“We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.”

I also include that statement in my ABOUT page in YouTube and all my social media. Just to be safe.
