Am I Ready For A Network?

Okay, I'm slightly tempted by them because of the CPM's i have been told they offer but I guess i should try to look for a 1 year
The CPM seems good now, but what if they’re artificially inflating it, then when they have a ton of people in a 3 year contracts they drop it back down?

This is a hypothetical situation of course, but it just goes to show that if something sounds too good to be true (in this case a high CPM), it probably is.

thats true but its prob still a lot better than adsense and its the only concrete offer i have at the moment, i guess im just one of those people that likes to get the ball rolling and that sometimes makes me make rash decisions so i should hold back and wait for something else, what networks do you think my channel would get accepted to that do 1 year deals if i may ask?

I would say contact BBTV and RPM. They seem to both have decent CPM's and 1 year contracts.

I waited until I had 5,000 subs to get a partnership. My point is if you don’t meet there requirements yet, it doesn’t hurt to wait.

Okay, thanks for the tips I appreciate it a lot I am new to this forum and appreciate all the friendly advice I get. I am just popping out but I have subbed to your channel and will check the vids when i get home in an hour or so :)

Okay yeah I always thought i should prob make a facebook to try spread the word and think this is something I will do in the near future. thanks.
Your very much welcome and i think it's a good idea

Hell yeah joining a partnership network you get support and a actual partner manager and i feel like better protection over all and certain 3rd party partnerships very in what they offer for instance im bound by a 2 year contract!

a few months to unlink my adsense from youtube to partner with a network? most people say its like 1-3 weeks? :S
Truthfully it does depend on the network its self you are trying to join i know with fullscreen it took about 2-3 weeks to be fully linked and i had the banner and all the other stuff immediately but if you have an active adsense account they have to import your earnings over from them and transfer it!!!

Yeah, they have to contact YouTube or the AdSense people I guess to get it unassociated and their support is terrible :p
YES IT IS YOU WOULD THINK GOOGLE WOULD HAVE SOME TYPE OF SUPPORT THATS THE FIRST THING I STARTED THINKING ABOUT LIKE IF I PLAN ON BEING A DEDICATED PARTNER I NEED A NETWORK THAT FITS MY NEEDS AND GIVES ME ALL THE SUPPORT/TOOLS I NEED

Thanks for all the replies. Based on my channel viewership do you think I am best off to wait and bide my time before signing any contracts? I mean I want to be a part of a network but am unsure what to join really, i want decent cpm's and a channel that will help grow my channel but I don't want the huge risk of being tied down to 1 contract for so long in case they can't help support my channel properly.

All I know is RPM will offer you a 60/40 split and a 1 year contract, that offer is not going to change.
