All networks gone to s**t?

but if you dont care about cpm or money, then why are you botherd about which network you join? you will get banners and thumbnails with them all

I'm trying to join Collective atm. o.o
Good like with that, though it seems like they pretty much exclusively accept channels with EXCEPTIONALLY high production value and audiencies up in the hundred thousands or even millions. Good luck anyhow![DOUBLEPOST=1365365703,1365365610][/DOUBLEPOST]
Its probably because no network can be 100% perfect and whatever flaws a network do have are made a big thing of because people want everything to be perfect, obviously there are exceptions to this case for instance the morals of both ATV and RPM recently are hugely questionable. Also the way that rumours spread round about networks makes it hard to decide fact from fiction, all networks that have a reasonable amount of partners will eventually have 1 unhappy partner, you just simply can never please everybody because everyone wants something different.
I've gotten an impression that Fullscreen has generally been a good network, but there's always gonna be those couple of people who are unhappy about their situation I guess.

ATV are just idiots run by a guy with no experience on YouTube
RPM know well what they`re doing is wrong but are doing it anyway
Fullscreen try and show up the fact they have some of the worst CPMs of any network by giving their little "yea we have a big sales team" pitch.. Austin (insert pitch now) ;)

What I want is a trustworthy network along with gaining the obvious YouTube partner-perks (thumbnails, scheduled uploads, etc.). I look for a network, which has good support for partners so that I can have somewhat of a feeling of security in the world of copyright issues, known as YouTube. Also, I am only looking for a year's contract with a network so that I can then switch to another if I have grown a necessarily wide audience to do so. Only this kind of a good network to be with for the time being I guess. I might demand too much though...

Nah, they run a gaming network and I have seen channels partnered with them with around 113 subs. Hopefully I get accepted D:

We have no issues with Fullscreen's CPMs on either one of our channels-which includes our much smaller gaming channel that only gets 30k views per month. Last month's CPMs were on par with November on Adsense for us. Some networks do pay a higher CPM-and then take half of your earnings, so you end up making less. What matters is the bottom line. We run our channel like a business. We get over 2 million views per month. If Fullscreen couldn't meet our demands for revenue, then we wouldn't have signed with them. And if you expect the same level of revenue and service that we get, you're going to be sorely disappointed. You have to earn that.
