Adsense CPC vs CPM

Hi guys, this is just basically a question , I'm a new partner with youtube and wondered how adsense chooses what type of ad's to give you? because I Often seem to get one type of ad and not the other (don't think I'm allowed to go into specifics of this so I won't)
But I would assume that they start giving you more cpm ad's rather than cpc ad's as your youtube becomes more popular, is this correct? E.G if you get 10,000 regular views a day they would be more inclined to give you cpm ad's, where as if you are getting say 10 views a day they are more likely to give you cpc ad's?

Can anyone verify this and explain to me how they choose, sorry if any of this is not explained properly. thanks

CPMs are for full partners (partners with networks) only.
Adsense doesn`t work off of CPMs.
 
What type of ad displays to the viewer varies on a lot of factors, generally Google try to place the highest paying ads instead of lower serving ads.

This process has nothing to do with your Channels stats. Also you are only prohibited from sharing CPCs, RPM and CTR everything else is fine.

Really? So partners that are direct with adsense can only use cpc ads, and partner programs with networks E.G fullscreen give cpm ads? can anyone else confirm this please? so top youtubers that are with youtube alone will only receive cpc ad's?

Pretty much. You will make way more money if you are with a network.
 
okay thanks a lot for all comments, someone check my channel out and tell me how far away I am from realistically being accepted by a network? only if you don't mind :)

I don't think you understand CPC term. CPC is Cost per click. This don't play a role in advertising on YouTube for you as a partner. CPC is how much the advertiser pays per click for their campaign and CPM is what you receive per 1,000 monetizable impressions.


You get paid for both in Adsense (monetized views very very low amounts) and for Networks you get paid for monetized views only.

so is it right what someone before stated that adsense doesn't do cpm they just do cpc? so networks will pay u for views more instead of clicks?
