I read the whole thing. the way the copyright laws work you are able to create parody video and monetize them BUT the parody has to be related to the original works. Like you can't just take a songs instrumental, write a song and say it's a parody. But on the other hand you could take the (I love you ) from that PBS kids show and change it to (I'll slap you) because it's a parody off of the original works if that makes sense.

And you still can't use the original recording. So if there is an instrumental version around, you can't use that, you have to reproduce the music yourself (or hire someone to do so.)

no I'm pretty sure you're allowed to use the original instrumental recording in parodies... I might be wrong but I feel fairly certain about this one
