Yeeey! I made another milestone.. I didn't know that managing can also be tiring! So when did you guys started monetizing? How many views and subscribers that it has to take you to have $100 a month.. I heard that in monetizing you need to have a minimum of $100 a month to be paid by youtube..

I got my first deposit from YouTube after about 9 months of consistent uploading, and yeah, the threshold is $100 total, not $100/month. I haven't yet reached 1K subscribers, but I'm getting close. Mostly, it's about the number of views you have on each video, and the number of times people click through or watch ads before your videos and the pop up ads in your videos, etc.

It can be tiring, and who knows how much money anyone can make with the monetization, because it's such a crowded field with variables we can't control, but if you enjoy making videos, it can definitely be worth it.

And congratulations on 300 subs! That's great!

Thanks for that info.. it.really helps alot.. i've seen some of the youtube friends I have already put ads on their channel even if its still small.. but then some has lots of channel with just the same videos.. Why do they make so much channel? Is it also for monetization purposes?
