Hey guys! I have 15k views in my YouTube channel but still I have no money in my YouTube channel. Why? I have monetized all videos. Can anyone explain this?

Thanks for reading.

I am very new to YT, so maybe someone will more experience will provide better answer, but first what comes to mind is Adsense setting. Check if you linked correct Adsense account. There you can check performance report (report type: product, and later Hosted content).

Also from my short experience, first 15K views brought me just few dollars which was disappointing (and those were available with delay). With time (I hope) YT will give more impressions, better ads, and ultimately more revenue.

I got you fam.

The money you earn is not by how many people watched the video but how much of the video they watched.

If you have not gotten even like 4 dollars from 15 k views in a month then the retention must be low.

That or you monetized recently, anything before monetization you won't make a dime out of.

Also obviously it takes a day or two for the ad earnings to come up.

Same thing with donations, I got a few from streaming two days ago and it's now on my youtube analytics.

(no idea about channel donations though.)

As martingray360 said, 15K is not a lot of views where YouTube is concerned; and as they are spread across multiple videos, of course the earnings will be small. Also you don't get revenue from people simply watching your videos.

If you have pre-roll ads, viewers must at least watch all of the ad for you to earn from it. Overlay ads must be engaged with by viewers going to the offer the ad is displaying by clicking it. Earnings on new uploads take at least a week or so to display properly.

If you came to YouTube only to "make money", you've come for the wrong reason; YouTube isn't going to make you rich unless you get millions of viewers watching your videos and subscribing to your channel. I've been on YouTube since before the monetization plan was in place, and I started making videos because I wanted to help people with hypnotherapy and sound healing, not because I thought YouTube would make me lots of money.

I've set my Adsense threshold at many times the minimum payout and forgotten it. I will be pleasantly surprised if and when I do get paid.

That said, keep on posting quality content people will watch all the way through, and the subscribers and money will come.

You don't need any money at the beginning, its eather your youtube is now connected to adsence or you don't have a partnership agreement with some company :p

If you monetized your videos & you're not getting money that's because of YouTube don't give you money instead of views or viewing ads on you videos & channel....you will only get money if your viewers click on the ads.I hope you understand.Your viewers need to click on your videos then you will get money :)

It took be 60,000 views to receive a pay check and its nothing to brag about. Unless you have 10,000 subscribers, I wouldn't worry about how much you're making... You even if you have 1,000,000 views if people aren't clicking on ads / watching them... You aren't making much. YT isn't to make money unless you are literally trying to make a job out of it (AKA working on videos / editing / marketing etc. for 8-15 hours a day).
