i got another notification for a video going over 50k views. im pretty sure the first one started with saying congradulations but then the rest of it was pretty much the same
there has been other ones I never even got a notification on so I think it may be kinda random. still never got a e-mail regarding any milestones.
I wouldn't really expect anything as far as subscriber milestones from youtube till you earn a play button. I don't doubt that the person you know who got a 100 subscriber e-mail did get one but I would suspect its random and probably most people don't. it could have also been from maybe tube buddy or another similar add on app rather than from youtube itself.
