where perseverance is 100% something you need on this platform I would also say sometimes there is a time to hang up your hat and try something new, my old channel allowed me to learn about editing, SEO and thumbnail design which has made this process a 100x easier.
As much as I'm satisfied with my channel's own recent growth spurt, I can't help but sense a similarity to my own situation. I've had a few failed video gaming channels, even associated myself with a guy behind a bigger channel that had a couple thousand subs a few years ago, but I've never experienced any meaningful growth.
I love D&D and stretching the gaming system's limits, but I've reached a point where my interests shifted and I want to explore other things, not necessarily even within the D&D or RPG space at all. On the other hand, this little channel is undeniably keeping my sanity and finances in order, so I don't just want to abandon it, it wouldn't make sense either. I'm also angry at myself for reaching this point so soon, I feel like the channel is just about to enter a new phase of growth and I'm already losing interest in the topics and want to do something new
Congratz, btw, that's a nice growth rate for a new channel.
