Gaming YTtalk Minecraft Server?

I believe he is talking about one dedicated to YTTalk members.

I have been considering it, as I have a machine at home I can easily run a huge server on, but I need to get with my buddy at my ISP and see if I can get my upload bandwidth increased reasonably.

That would be great, all these "youtube servers" on minecraft forums are complete sell outs, they just want some sort of fame for their server then let everyone in it! its so stupid, I dont have an income but i can kinda donate once and awhile, I want a server where ANYONE that does youtube from HERE can go on and make their own series anywhere around the map, not having to make a series with other people just to get the server owner his 5 mins of "fame" I want a place where me friends and other youtubers can build a small town and barter/hang out without the limitations of these HUGE servers, if you do this PLEASE let me know itd be great

You do realize there are dozens, if not hundreds, of YouTube Minecraft players on here, right?

EDIT:
I talked to my friend who owns my ISP. He can't increase my bandwidth (due to physical restrictions of the wires running in my neighborhood), but he has said if I can get a dedicated box to him he can hook it up to the hub and run a server there (on the telecommunications trunk) provided I make one for his kids to play on too, since they also play Minecraft. No charge, just needs the box.

Unfortunately, I can't spare a box since all my 'spares' won't run a minecraft server well, only my two main computers. I will see what I can do.

Ok, I can make this happen but I need a box. I ran my own server for over a year and have some custom java scripts written to optimize how Minecraft runs on Windows (no, not sharing, they were a lot of hard work). At this point I can run a vanilla server, Forge servers, Bukkit servers, pretty much any kind of Minecraft server (all of which I have run). My 'Building Briarwood' series was actually run on my old server, when I was paying for hosting.

Just to check, I went to Dell's Refurbished computers section (which are usually good and inexpensive). They have Xeon Quad Core 2.66Ghz computers, 12GB RAM, 1 TB HD and 64Bit OS for a little over $500. That machine alone could handle 4-6 servers, each handling 20-30 people, all running at the same time (all depending on modpacks loaded). (Machine details below, under quotes.)

The only expenses would be the up-front for the box, as we won't have to pay for electricity or bandwidth. I will agree to volunteer my time to set it up and perform all the maintenance for as long as the box will run if others are willing to chip in for the box. I can even set it up for remote control so others can sign in if I am unavailable (like if I get hit by a bus or something). Who would have access, however, would have to be up for a democratic vote.

Are you over 18? If so, give me your Skype name and I'll add you to the group I'm forming on Skype to send out quick word when someone wants to do a map. It is for grownups only (or at least as grownup as a bunch of people who play video games can be).

So far I have @Capriciousafro, @Zesty Udders, @Coda , and the guy I know who actually has a server of his own (who is not on here but I keep saying he should join up).

So, it's not an official YTTalk server, but we have use of it. I am trying to get together enough donations to get the box for us to run a server on but no one seems really interested in investing in it.
