YTTalk Meetup?

First of all I'm really not sure what forum this thread would belong to.. so I hope the moderators won't be mad at me for that :D

I was wondering if YTTalk members have ever done a meetup? Is it even possible to do so? I know there must be way too many members in this forum and we're all from different parts of this world. So it's technically not possible in over all. But what about meetups in your own cities? Would that be even possible?

Meetups would help so many to meet different YouTubers and possibly work together on projects and collabs. That would help everyone and the community grow much stronger.
 
you have to take into account on where people live and if anyone is comfortable with doing that.

google hangouts and/or skype can be something to remedy that situation.
 
I'd love if all the active yttalk members could meet up one day but it might not be possible... maybe on day all the UK members can have a meet up and all the members in North America can have a separate meet up or something like that. i know my self and a couple of members from Canada have talked about doing to an anime convention or even vid con and Promote Yttalk

A real life meetup would be really cool, but it's kind of impossible like you already said. As for meetups in your own cities, I haven't seen any Estonian people on this forum which makes me wonder if I'm the only Estonian here. Also, I probably wouldn't be able to go to the town just to join a meetup, cuz I'm still pretty young and mom wouldn't just let me go alone, plus I think she'd think such meetups are suspicious and would never let me go to one :/
 
I am all for something like this but as others have said its not practical with a lot of us living in different countries, it would be so cool to see say people in the UK from here meeting up and then a group in the USA and Canada. We dont have so many members from the other countries to have a big gathering but I am sure some day we will.

I wouldnt mind arranging it etc too

if i ever find my way to the UK man be prepaired cause i'll bring William Stuffy and Katherine with me haha

That's a great idea actually. We could at least do that till we find enough people here that are from the same city as we are in and then possibly try an actual meet up.[DOUBLEPOST=1348526335,1348526214][/DOUBLEPOST]

Dude that'd be awesome. I guess we just have to wait till we find enough members from the same city we all live in. And that anime convention or vid con with some members to promote YTTalk would be sweet. Keep us updated on that!
