Hello guys, i was just wondering when its a good time to apply for YT-P.
I have read the FAQ on YT but i ask you guys. Was it because how many subs you had? Or what made it happen?
Iam not a YT partner but thinking ofc to be one.
Why i ask this is ofc what i already asked, but is there any negative sides that me/we who arent YT-P should be aware of?
Ty for the answers! :)

sup swindahz good to see you again.most of the time networks base it off of how many views you get not your subscribers.Thats why most networks have a "minimum view requirement" but never a "subscriber requirement"

It all happens Automatic. so just keep working. Now if you apply for a network then is different. However your revenue will be split between you and the network. I keep seeing people saying is a 70/30 split lol some other networks may ask for a larger cut. BUT people need to understand that you're already getting a 70/30 split with google in the first place, so that other 70/30 split you're getting with the network is coming from the 70% you were getting in the first place. So now you're getting like a 45% to 48%...

Also, I havent seen people grow faster with network parnertships... those that have, would have had on their own if they knew proper keyword use.
is it worth the pretty looks? IDK :p

Just do your research well. I'm not against networks, I hear they give you awesome tools. So for less Internet savvy people this might be a good idea.

Hope I helped.

True... BUT.. he is a gaming channel, and they HAVE to go through a network, unless you purchase all of the contracts etc from the developers yourself.

you lost me there, i dont understand. i understood what your saying with google already having a 70/30 split and that the network is essentially giving you the same but i dont get where the 45% and 48% come from, if i understood correctly your saying that once the network takes its split and then google take theirs your getting 45 to 48% which is incorrect because when you become partner with a network you are told by the network to notify youtube to disconnect your adsense account from your youtube therefore you only have to give a total of 30% to your network and no one else. Although it is now the same split as before their are more benefits such as higher CPM which google never does, also you are protected from troubles that could occur (Click bombs, copyrighted strikes etc.).

Please correct me if i was wrong Oscar, since i wasnt sure what you meant.

Ok let me rephrase it. A network doesn't get any special treatment from google. So The 70/30 split the network gives you, comes from the 70% they get from google. Understand now. This is what I understand from my research. Trust me I'm a geek, and If I'm wrong. Then I am sorry for misleading information. All you have to do is ask your network, they should be honest folk right?

I had around 100 subscribers when I got invitation from Fullscreen. So I guess number of daily views is most important

So, let me get this right. If me myself is applying for YT-P, they all can see me searching for one? Lets say Network A,B,C,D, all of those see my searching for a partnership? right? wrong? Or i wait until someone contact me? So there is two ways? Otherwise i apply for YT-P or i wait ?
