YT-partner? And how does payment work?

Hello youtubers!

First keep in mind i am far away from earning anything from YT or having planned to do so.

I was wondering... so payment only works after achieving 10$ or more?

What is an AdSense-account for?
What can i do with it? How do i handle taxes?

Can i be in a youtubepartnership and not earn money? Are there any other advantages for having partnership?
Can i lose my partnership by not monetizing my videos? :O

1. AdSense as a wallet for Your Website/YouTube earning. if your reach first time $10 you will get notification and google will sent you mail to your home for verified your adsense account. if you reach $100 you will payout to bank or post or western union.
2. if you not monetize them it's fine no problem and no earning too for it.
3. as I know if you want join the YouTube Network (eg. Maker, Fullscreen, Machinima, etc.) You need enable you monetize setting. benefits from Network Free Audio Library (AudioMicro, EpidemicSound, etc.) & some Apps.

The payment treshold is different for every country, like in the USA it's 100 dollears, and in Europe it's roughly 70 euro's. Once you have reached that treshold the money will be transferred in the next month, so if you managed to get the treshold in June, you'll get paid out in July. If I remember correctly youtube will pay you somewhere between 1 and 10 cents the first time around and then have you fill in that number on their page to confirm everyting is set up currectly. From then on you don't have to do anything anymore unless you change your bankaccount etc.
Taxes you'll have to do yourself, but unless you earn a lot it's not worth it.

To earn money with a video you have to monitize it, if you don't monitize it you won't earn anything.

To lose your partnership is hard, the only way I could think of is that you try to monitize contecnt that is not yours, like music or movies.

The few advantages of parnetship is longer video's (>15 minutes) paid subscriptions (when more then 10000) and of course monitization
 
What is an AdSense-account for? Adsense is the service that places ads on your videos. You get paid for people viewing the ads.
What can i do with it? You can target specific ads and make ads of your own, but if you are just using it for YouTube, you pretty much just set up the account and leave it alone.
How do i handle taxes? You would have to pay the taxes at tax time.

Can i be in a youtubepartnership and not earn money? Are you talking about being a YouTube Partner or being part of a network? If a YouTube Partner, you only earn money by monetizing videos and having an Adsense account connected to your YouTube account.
Are there any other advantages for having partnership? Not that I know of.
Can i lose my partnership by not monetizing my videos? Nope.
 
If you have a lot of views and subscribers (10.000) and over like 50.000 views per month.
Of course you can always monitize your video's if you are a partner, but when you don't have a lot of views iT will take years before you get paid

The only way to get paid with such small views (if you small range channel) is to work with a MCN. There are lot of who pays even 1$.
