I saw this message in my Analytics:

I got pretty excited after seeing "realtime view count estimates and more" so I downloaded the app. Come to find out the data is currently the same, which is 2 days behind at the moment. It's also missing ad performance, and the charts aren't interactive.

I'm sure it will be better in the near future, though. But I'm not sure why they're currently advertising realtime updates, maybe it's just buggy at the moment.

Check out the app (YouTube Creator Studio) and let me know what you think. :)
 
I was very excited to try it out at first as were many others but I dont even use it now lol I definitely think it needs more to it to make me want to use it all the time, its a shame it wasnt a part of the normal YouTube app as an all in one.
 
Downloaded it this morning myself. The potential is there for it to be pretty handy. Give it time I guess.
 
I do not understand how (and i do not believe) they can make the app to show "real time" stats on mobile, while at present time even on the desktop/browser Youtube dashboard stats are delayed 1-2 days?

...unless Youtube will make "real time" stats available in future for Youtube dashboard in browser too.

Yeah, I'm actually surprised they didn't do an all in one kind of app. That would have been pretty badass. :x

This sounds cool though. Better than nothing, or going in your phone browser to look at analytics when you're away from your computer.
 
The real time stats are only available if you look at individual videos-not your overall view count. It's purely an estimate based on drop off from hour to hour within a 48 hour window. So far, it seems pretty accurate.
