Hey guys, I thought I would ask the community as you guys are all committed members of Youtube, is there a way for me to create a custom thumbnail for my videos without being monetised with Youtube? I'm uploading a new video within the next hour and a quick reply would be very helpful.

Nope. Must have monetazion enabled for at least 30 days.

^ You could do this. I am doing this on my gaming channel. I enabled monetizaion to get custom thumbnails, but none of my videos are monetized.

no unfortunately not you have to have monetisation for at least a month so you may as well have monetisation mate

No. Almost everyone seems to monetize their videos nowadays, people should be used to it.
