YouTube Space in Paris opens

Google announced on Thursday that it has opened its new YouTube space in Paris on 8 Rue de Londres. Google said that Paris is now home to one of the most vibrant YouTube communities in the world, with viewers watching 60 percent more YouTube content than last year.

Paris marks YouTube’s seventh city for its creator spaces, joining Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Tokyo, New York, and Sao Paolo.

I've just received an invite in my dashboard to check the place out and use their facilities but it's a bit far for me. It'd be good for networking with YT staff though, so maybe I'll make the trip soon.

Sorry - I can't. But for 10 years in Japan we learned one very simple thing - in Japan nothing is what it seems to be. There is always an onion in the onion, a network in the network and usually many of them.

We already miss the simplicity of the western world. I hope it didn't morph in something different during our 10 years of absence because we intend to rejoin it soon!
