Youtube Shows

Hey all,
What are your experiences with Shows? My subscribers have been telling me to bundle my videos in shows as it will skyrocket my views.

Anyone got experience with this?

As shows do you mean like playlists? I personally use this, im not sure how effective it is but it find it more organized and easier for people to watch all your videos if it has autoplay on

No, shows as in partner-exclusive shows!

I've personally used this show feature but it requires ALOT of work! No jokes! You have to create seasons, then add each video to the season of the show and rate each episode as like if it contains mild violence and stuff, it will also automaticly add a (name of show)-Season(number)-(title of your video) and you have to go back and change it. I've tried it but it says it is under review and I don't know how to publish it I could use some help with it too

On the one side it's really good because people can subscribe to the show, if they don't want to see your other videos.
But on the other side it requires some work to keep the show alive etc.

Wow, this might actually be what i wanted from day one... i always wanted my channel to be 20minute shows.....

i dont know i think its only necessary for youtubers unless they are extremely popular

Personally I don't think its that necessary. Speaking from experience, Playlists do the same exact thing grouping wise, the only difference is that you can subscribe to shows. When they subscribe, it will notify them via the subbox when an upload was made, similar to a channel's notifications. But playlists are a lot easier to control and there is no verification process that you have to go through with like a show. YouTube screens and processes each show, which prolongs the creation from instantaneous to about a day-a few days.

how exactly does making them into shows put up the views? I mean besides as it coming up on the show page of youtube does it make it come up higher in the search engine, what does it do?
