Youtube search (please help)

Hello,
I started my youtube channel few weeks ago and I would like to know how to be found on youtube search. If you type in "Eagleknot"(my channel name) my channel or any videos do not appear, but if you type like "Eagleknot forest" or "eagleknot case opening" or "eagleknot channel" it appears. What should I do to get my videos shown in youtube search by typing "eagleknot"? Please help :)
 
Your channel doesn't show up because the name is too closely related to all those knot tying videos. I had a similar problem in the beginning, a few videos and channels named Qazplm that existed longer but aren't even active anymore were at the top, so my channel and videos were all bumped down. You probably need to make a new channel with a more unique name or hope you get lucky enough to get enough watch time for Youtube's search to consider your name more relevant than all the knot-tying videos.
 
There is a place in YouTube Settings where you can add tags to your channel. That is one of the big ways to get your channel higher on the search. Optimizing the tags can put you close if not to the top of the search for your channel name. It got me to the top :D I hope it helps you as well!
 
I'm having this issue because there are three other 'Emily Marshall' accounts and even if I search 'emilyjmarshall' it redirects to Emily Marshall and you have to scroll down a bit to find mine. (one is my old account but I can't get it out of search without deleting it which i dont want to do...)

Where do I find those?
 
Alot of this is depends on your channel size and the amount of times people search for you,
Also you will usually want to have your tags match your title then it gets google to put two and two together which gets you higher on searches
