Hi, looking for some advice on YouTubes rules.

Are you allowed to post a video of a show which I have full copyright ownership over but also upload shorter clips of segments taken from the full version ie would YouTube see this as duplicate content?

Are you allowed to post compilations? Clips from different videos combined which consist of my own content.

Can YouTube terminate your channel because you have created playlists which contain some videos linked to content or channels which have been removed? Conscious this raises a risk of using others content in playlists?

Are you allowed to upload branded idents onto YouTube?

If you are the full copyright owner there should be no problem with that at all.

I don't know how YT determines/polices duplicate content.

Compilations - again if its all your own copyright owned material, I don't see any reason why not.

Dunno but if a channel or video has been removed then I'd suggest removing it from your playlists; if for no other reason than stopping people looking at your playlists from getting frustrated.

What do you mean by branded idents ?
