YouTube Rewind 2012

I'm kinda surprised the guys from The Creatures, or anyone from Channel Awesome/Team Four Star didn't make it in there. Though I do understand, they went with the super mega popular ones that people that hardly use the internet even know about. I seen news and TV shows cover vids or have a 'viral vid of the week' section at time. You sure won't see AVGN on any of those, nor would anyone outside of internet/youtube even know who he is, while everyone knows who Psy is.

Though I'm surprised they managed to get Psy there since he's the only real celebrity there amongst all the other Youtubers. Though props for that scene of the old guy that shot his daughter's laptop. LOL I remember hearing about that. Also props for Minecraft references. It honestly seems that game was made solely for Lets Players. lol

And as big as Gangnam Style is, I'm glad they also threw in Call me Maybe in there.

Well, I actually think that YouTube frowns on Team Four Star. They aren't partners because they use copyrighted material in their videos.

Given the case, I wonder why they're still there? And they DO use that disclaimer at the beginning of every episode. I figure if YT ever does ban them, they have their own site, but it's still way easier to find them on Youtube.

They bring traffic to their site whether they do stuff legally or not, as long as they dont try to adsense their videos, YouTube will let them be.
