Hi guys im new to this thread first off I have a few questions if anyone can informe me on this. Ok currently im waiting to be unlinked with freedom and was accepted by curse but because I have a gaming channel I was always under the impression that to monetized games you need to be in a gaming network is that not true? Can I do this with adsense? And does anyone know where or what network I can apply to to get sponsorship for games keyboards tshirts and stuff because freedom promised me this said I meet the requirments and never came through thats one of the main reasons im leaving now. Any info would be appricated and helpful as im still learning. I also have other youtube channels already in adsense and I love it but I thought for games it was diffrent.

you're most likely uploading footage that you don't have right to. You need permission to record the game and monetize it from the creator unless stated on their website that they allow people to do this. For example, I am a gaming channel to and I wanted to record Deus Ex and L.A. noire which are from square Enix and Rockstar so I went on their website and saw that both actually allow you to record and monetize so in that situation you have the ok to record but company's such as Nintendo and Capcom won't give you permission and that is where you run into 3rd party strikes and copyright strikes.

No thats not what happened at all but thanks for the reply. Games that where giving me 3rd party claims didn't after I joined freedom which was weird to me
 
You don't HAVE to be partnered with a network if you want to monetize
You can monetize directly with adsense

From what I've been told it's easier for you not to get a copyright claim while in a network other than without one (?)
Not even sure how that works.. but that seems to be what everyone thinks
 
1> 3rd party content claim does not depend either you're in MCN or not.
2> You can monetize vids with AdSense but that's in my option a bit more risky cause in case (may be rare) if u get banned, then u can't monetized anymore in anyway.
 
Guys iv been on youtune since 07' I KNOW you don't HAVE TO BE IN A NETWORK to monitize videos. I was saying I got alot more 3rd party strikes with the same videos not in a network as I did with one. I know it sounds weird but im just its what happened to me with batman amd shadow of mordor omce I want into a network I didn't get that claim anymore.
