Youtube network Help?

I Love YTtalk
Hey YTTALK, I have just been sent a private message on youtube from 'Fierce Network', is there anyone who is partnered with them? And are they legit? Are they good?

I am a bit of a dummy when it comes to Youtube Networks so how do they work? What do they get out of it and how do I make money from it as it says you make £4-£11 CPM? Where does the money come from? Im sorry if I sound really stupid but I haven't got a clue!

Youtube, when you partner them, splits ad revenue 45/55. (I am not including YouTube red information here).

When you join a network, then will take a bit of your cut and give you the remainder of your cut.

Network splits can run 90/10, 80/20, 70/30…etc depending on the network.

Essentially you’re paying them out of your earnings for the services they provide you.

Overall, it is up to you to decide if the split they want, makes the services they provide worth it to you.

If they ask you to sign a contract, please remember that is a legal decision and should not be taken lightly.

That said, I have never heard of or used that Network. I’d recommend you do a bit of research on them.

I have researched them quickly, didn't find much about them, so probably wouldn't sign a contract, thanks for your help :)

Negotiate if you do decide to go with a network. Make sure it's worth the cut they take, I left Fullscreen because my music I got from Audiomicro kept getting 3rd party strikes. To me that was the only reason I really stayed with them because the music library had really nice music, but now that I can't really use it, to hell with them! As the person above said, read the contract carefully. Negotiate your contract length and pay cut as well, if you say no they get $0, so getting a little bit less percentage will at least give them SOME money.

70% - 90% of the 55% that YouTube gives. Please be careful not to misinform people.

HWhere does the money come from?

AdSense. They generally get ads from the same place as it would come from without a Network. They pays the same, display just as often, and are the same exact ads. The only difference is that you're paying a cut to the network.
