Youtube is Testing my Patience

I kinda feel like this is a test to see if I can stand the abuse, aha
After dealing with everything I made having to provide more detail on, youtube finally started monetizing my content right away, thankfully. That time was over and my bloodpressure returned to normal. But just today I started getting a nice amount of hits on one of my videos. A video that was already monetized. I go to look at it in the video editor to see the "!" staring back at me. Why? Lol... The video was already monetized. All the info in the description, same songs ive always used, in the video. What is going on?

I almost went and applied for Fullscreen out of frustration. My friend is with them and hes happy, but, hes also much much bigger than me so they probably treat him better. ALSO, I just read about the whole managed/affiliate switch up thing to come in the next few months... I'm wondering if I should just battle this out, since i'm going to be in the same situation, just making less money with a network in the future....

For new uploads you should schedule them instead of uploading it straight to public to avoid missing any revenue. For old videos, you're just going to have to ride through it. I don't think it's a good enough reason to give away x percent of your earnings especially now we have the affiliate changes in May.

You've got that right. I actually figured that out a few months back and have been scheduling. The weird thing was, this video was already monetized...for like 3 weeks now. Then they suddenly just un-monetized it. So strange. But yeah...gotta just go with it, i guess... I'm missing out on revenue because it started getting hits. But not enough for me to really be concerned. (Would suck if it randomly went viral, haha. I'd be so mad at youtube). And yeahh, i've been toying with the network idea for so long, but this affiliate change thing is really making me stick to my guns of not going with a network. Its almost completely pointless at my size.
