YouTube is Difficult

Man, thinking of ideas, writing the scripts, filming, then editing sure is hard. EXPECIALLY when you have a small fanbase and there aren't many people appreciating your time and effort you put into your videos.
Have you guys ever thought like this, and how do you get past it?
Also, does video-making ever get old, so you need breaks to do different things?

Well Youtube isn't for everyone. If you have a hard time thinking of ideas, scripts, filming, editing, etc... Maybe it's not for you.

Sure, it's difficult, but it's not that much more difficult than being an artist or a musician. It all takes passion, dedication, and practice.

And your channel size shouldn't matter. If you're creating good content, the views and subs will come.
 
Yeah, it can be a mental exercise from week to week. My thought process is to have the memory of a goldfish and the wisdom of a monk (actually I just came up with that right now, but it sounds good). Forget about the exhaustion and remember what's fun and what works.
 
i dont agree in the least 0.0, youtube is You being YOU, if your not having fun doing it, then obviously your missing the point of youtube.

Well said, homie.[DOUBLEPOST=1394741375][/DOUBLEPOST]I know this is off-topic, but as a general rule, I block people and delete their comments on my videos if they make nasty, mean spirited, or hateful comments, or comments that have NOTHING to do with the video! Just sayin'.
 
I have fun making them, people watching it is a plus :-D It is difficult though. I have trouble coming up with doable ideas sometimes with the limited time I have, but its fun to make none the less.
 
When I have troubles with ideas I make this face

You gotta ask yourself "why am I doing this?" Is it to practice writing scripts? Filming? Making that dough? They are all valid answers. It becomes easier when you understand why you do it. Then you never have to say... "what's the point?" instead you ask "why is this not working?"
