I've uploaded 70 videos to my Channel in advance and labeled the "Visibility" as "Private". As I make these videos available daily, I'm changing the Visibility from "Private" to "Public" one video per day.
On my website, I'm using iFrame code to display the most Recent Video. The problem is that after changing the Visibility from Private to Public, the YouTube Published Date is an older date. So when I sort the videos in the Playlist by "Date Published (Newest)" the results are random and not what I'm expecting. I also tried testing Scheduling videos for a day/time, but I still get the original upload date, which makes it impossible to sort the videos in a way to get the ones I'm making Public reflect the date that I perform the task.
I was hoping that when I changed the Visibility from Private to Public that it would take on that day and not the day I uploaded it, because I uploaded them in a bulk fashion.
Is there a way to change the date? Is there another way to approach this without re-uploading 70 videos?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
