Youtube giving me trouble on Saints Row: The Third?

I uploaded a Saints Row: The Third video a while ago and it was disabled from monetization, despite the fact that I didn't have any copyrighted material in the video. Then last night, I uploaded another Saints Row: The Third video, and right after it went up, I was given a copyright notice and had the video blocked from a claim by Comcast. The thing is, Youtube didn't tell me why the video was blocked - but I know the music in the intro/outro is royalty free and I don't have the radio playing in the game. If I look on Youtube, though, there are other play-throughs of Saints Row: The Third that are up, monetized, and have no warnings on them.

Basically, I'm asking what I can do if a video gets flagged and blocked for no reason. There's an option saying "I don't believe blah blah blah" that I can click, but I don't know what to do for the most part.

YouTube are pricks, end of story. They will tell you to take down your videos for absolutely no reason. I had a video of me smoking and that got me in trouble, look at all the smoking videos on YouTube!

yeah Ive seen lots of saints row the third gameplays there is a youtuber named "ijustine" if you have heard of her. She uploads gameplays for it like everyday so I cant think of why they would block yours.

Claimers can claim Visual (no audio), Audiovisual (video with a audio track) and Audio (e.g song on your video). So it sounds like they claimed Visual so even if you have commentary or radio on it you will still get a match.
Sadly YouTube can always decide to disable monetization for any reason as stated in there terms.

keep in mind that ads may only be served on advertiser-friendly content. YouTube reserves the right to make the final decision whether to monetize a video, and may disable monetization for users who repeatedly submit ineligible videos. All videos are subject to our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and may be removed from the site if they do not meet those standards.

What YouTube say when submitting monetization for gameplay:
Whether you can use video game content for monetization depends on the commercial use rights granted to you by licenses of video game publishers. Some video game publishers may allow you to use all video game content for commercial use and state that in their license agreements. Videos simply showing game play for extended periods of time may not be accepted for monetization.

Could I try to contact Volition / THQ and try to get permission to upload Saints Row: The Third videos? Is that what Jesse Cox and other Youtubers that play Saints Row had to do?

Unless you want to pay (usually) around $500 for a commercial license then not much point haha

They may get sponsored if their big, due to the fact they will probably get more sales from big people showing them playing it and kids wanting to play it as well and going to buy it

Don't try to monetize gameplay videos unless you are partnered with a network. YouTube is really sketchy about gameplay. YouTube itself will never approve monetization for a gameplay video. The reason that iJustine and others are allowed to do it is because they are partnered with networks that have assumed the legal liability. Many YouTubers with gaming channels have to get SEPARATE partnerships for their gaming channels. For example, DashieXP's main channel is partnered through YouTube, and his gaming channel DashieGames is partnered through Machinima. YouTube doesn't fool around with gaming, because they are protecting themselves. The best thing to do is turn off monetization, and build a solid audience, and then apply for partnership through a network that you know allows gaming videos (most of them do). Although, now that you have a copyright strike, it's going to be hard for you to get partnered until your account is in good standing again.

He only got a CID claim on the video blocking it not a actual strike. The problem would continue even if you were with a network, it wouldn't make it any difference he would still get a claim against the video. CMS users have to manually disable claims so yeah.
