How does monetization work on YouTube Gaming, and how does that come into play when you have a network? What about tips?

YouTube Gaming isn't any different from YT for network-related things and monetization. There are the same ad types available to you on both platforms.
 
YT gaming is the same as youtube really, only difference is that you will see only gaming videos on youtube gaming as well as gaming streams on the front page but is not different at all. I still have no idea how to get my videos on the Let's Plays of games I am currently playing.

Steaming. Major income on streaming for anyone is tips. Twitch/Hitbox/anything. People donate tips to you. It's extremely common. Does the network take that as its part of your channel and ask for part of it?
