YouTube for beginners

I've Got It
So I've just recently started making videos for YouTube and I thought it'd be good to make an updated thread, for people like myself who are new to the whole making videos thing, just to get some kind of basic ideas as to how to upload, where to look for support and basically anything else related to YouTube that may be relevant. It's obviously quite difficult to start off and stay motivated in YouTube so if anyone has any strategies on how to cope with this, or with negativity towards videos, they can let it all out here. Thanks a lot guys.

its a long tough road, good luck. As for support... there are thousands of helpful in depth threads all over these forums.

This form is full of tips to grow :P
I wish you luck with your channel!

As for negativity. There will always be negativity in channels haha you're gonna end up getting a thumbs down at some point. You just gotta ignore it :P Or just see it as interaction
People are still watching your video :)

You need to keep motivated by remembering in the first place why you wanted to start a youtube channel and just keep thinking of that. Also keep uploadsing videos you want to kind of build a library of videos because lets face it most people who subscribe want to see that you're active.

When your starting out its good to try and make other YouTube friends to help you along your journey. give each other reviews on there videos and tips and tricks in your videos.

I think the biggest and hardest thing about starting a youtube channel is to continue making videos. I hear a lot of big youtubers say that one of the biggest challenges is to keep uploading videos.. and this is to true. Keep at it and do what you enjoy doing! That's my new goal for sure.. even though I do struggle with it haha.
