Youtube finally helping with Fair Use after all this time

This is perfect! As a small YouTuber I've never really had any problems with Fair Use but I've heard the stories from many larger YouTubers who encounter this problem quite often

I am not sure if this will really make a big change in practice. YouTube will ask claimants back but what then? Of course they will say yes. Why would more people have the guts to sue them for invalid claims then today?

This is a good sign, things need to start going more in this direction across the internet as a whole, otherwise copyrights will literally tear the internet apart. I remember hearing that they want to put DRM on .jpeg images now, this kind of thing needs to die and be put in an unmarked grave for eternity.
