YouTube Copyright Strike Expiration

I'm new to YTtalk, so excuse me if I do things wrong.

Anyways, six months ago I received my first copyright strike. According to YouTube, (and my account) the strike should expire after 6 months. (Jul 12, 2014)
Now it's July 14 2014 (in my time zone) and the strike didn't expire yet. Could this be because July 12 was on a Saturday and 13 on a Sunday?
