Youtube has been on a downward spiral to "Wtf" for a while now but now they have alienated more than 90% of their content creators with this new set of rules...

I guess we all gotta start up a minecraft channel.
 
We must not forget that in the end youtube is a privately owned entity and thus is not truly a free open platform. Maybe one day we'll have a public owned site for uploading videos but for now we have to deal with this. My channel is totally unoffensive but I enjoy channels that are.

Their top channels are in conflict with their decision, from a business standpoint, they are stupid.

I agree its a stupid decision, maybe google has some master plan to change youtube fundamentally so it attracts more casual users, but I really dont know just guessing. Either way they are so f*****g rich whatever money they may lose doing this is nothing to them.
 
Hey, you wanna make that first minecraft lets play with me, considering this is not not youtube, but kidtube. lmao. Tbh though, I really don't know what their trying to accomplish, oh yea. They want ad friendly content, youtube is drunk
 
Well it is just for YouTube advertising, so technically you could still upload a video included all the items in the list and promote an item to sell and make money off of YouTube indirectly.
 
We need an official statement from PewDiePie. I want to know what youtube is going to do to HIS videos and how he feels about it. I mean... he ain't gonna put up wit dat ish. Look what happened with his Twitter account recently. He specifically said he made that joke because he finds the rules annoying. And if he's not affected then that's total hypocrisy.
