xSplit lags suddenly!

Loving YTtalk
I use xsplit to record my minecraft gameplay and last week suddenly the game started lagging alot. When I use fraps to record my fps is good but when I use xsplit it is under 10fps. This didn't used to happen before and just started last week. My PC specs are actually quite decent. I've searched everywhere and if anybody could help I would be grateful :)

Yeah, is that when it started acting up last week? Sometimes updates can be less beneficial. I'm gonna say it's most likely a software error somewhere just need to narrow it down. If it wasn't a recent update, was there any other software changes to the system that may conflict with xsplit?

No I've downgraded to when it was working but same thing :(
