x12 Problems

I just bought new x12 Turtle Beaches.

1. I can't listen to my computer and Xbox chat at the same time.

2. My friends all sound really bad quality now.

Help for either?

Make sure you have it where you can hear through speakers when your recording. Is that what your talking about?

Idk, I mean I have my pink wire into my computer, and the other x12 wires into my xbox, but I can't hear my computer.

Yeah because you cant use them for PC and Xbox.

Okay then... I have my pink in my headphone slot on my computer, and the green going to my AV cords. Is that allowed? Or must the green wire go into the headphone slot?
