Would someone teach me Sony Vegas Pro?

Hello, thank for reading this :D
I have recently bought Sony Vegas Pro 8, and do not have a clue how to use it lol. I only need to know how to cut segments out and allign video and a separate recorded narration to sync them up together and finally to render out. If someone could teach me, I'd be really great full. I would prefere someone teaching me live, like through Skype rather than being given a written piece.
Thank you for taking your time to read this

Take care :D

Sorry to let you down but I can't help. However I do have a question. How much was it and where did you buy it??

The key 's' on your keyboard splits video, split the segment you want out then press 'delete'. You can press 'u' when selecting a video track and it will ungroup it from the audio track, so you can move the audio separately.

If you have a microphone you can record in audacity, export as .wav, and then drag and drop the audio file to the video project to create narration/commentary. Render as is how you render, there are alot of options for how to render in HD.

I've importated the seperate narration, I used audacity for that but I don't know how to match it with the video so everything is in sync. And once that's done how am I able to cut out bits with the audio included?

The sync is your own thing...I mean if you mean to say "headshot" as the you shoot someone in the head on halo, find that part and match the audio to the action. If its an audio to real life video match up, snap your finger when you are recording your video so you have a easy to find place to match the separate audio with the video.

Once you've synced them together, highlight both the audio and video (hold ctrl + click both audio and video) then press the letter 'G', this will group them together and they will move together, you can now split them and move them around accordingly.
